Metal Spraying
Dean Industrial has recently acquired assets to carry out metal spraying for all types of applications.
All the required stages of metal spraying are carried out all under one roof at Dean Industrial including abrasive blasting, metal spraying then epoxy coatings if required.
The advantages of metal spraying is that the process can be completed with virtually no curing time required in relation to epoxy coatings. Metal spraying can be re-applied to achieve the nominal thickness required with minimal time loss.
At Dean Industrial we can coat using either a mix of 85% zinc 15% aluminium or 100% aluminium which is required for splash zones.
Dean Industrial has a complete mobile metal spray unit comprising a 425 cfm compressor with all hoses and hoppers and 50 Kva generator.

Commercial
At present Dean Industrial are carrying out such commercial work within the Illawarra & Sydney Metropolitan area. Current jobs include the Darling Walk Project at Darling Harbour for AGP, various architectural shop fronts at George
& Bond Street Sydney, various handrails for Wollongong City Council's ‘Blue Mile', Thirroul Community Centre as well as various architecturally designed residences.
Industry
The company is actively involved with projects for Bluescope Steel, Boral Concrete (Batching Plants), Veolia Water (Avon Dam), Sydney Water, NSW Public Works Department and RTA NSW.
Building
Manufacture of portable buildings continue, but Dean Industrial have recently concentrated on the niche market of 2 hour fire rated switchrooms. Such projects include switchrooms for
Westcliff, Dendrobium, NRE & Tahmoor Collieries.

overhead cranes enable safe and cost effective means of handling oversized projects. Drop Industrial recently completed the coating of the Raw Materials Barrel Reclaimer for Bluescope Steel which was a very high
profile project completed within cost & time restraints.
